Dies anyone know where I can get a used rickenbacker guitar for under $200?

My dad loves the guitar and it is impressive, can play the whole song until the interviews a couple of times and the one thing that has ever wanted is a rickenbacker, but new cost as $ 1500, but I foung as those used for $ 200 , But all were sold. Anyone knows if Rickenbackers is good? I 'm really looking to get to the guitars low. I have a high estimate but still, everyone has played one of these? as you rate them compared to other brands? good for a beginner? and yes.
